Following the success of their debut release, ‘That Good Thing’, Chasing Abbey bring a slick, smooth and mature offering with ‘Talk To Me’. Watch the music video for ‘Talk To Me’ HERE! The video, shot in Dublin was directed by Bold Puppy. It also features several of the trio’s friends from their home town, Tullamore.

This track is sure to be repeating in your head for days after hearing it. The Tullamore trio have employed a bass line that crunches and grooves beneath a vocal that flows from sparse to heavy throughout, allowing the song to breathe before culminating in a melodic chorus.

‘Talk To Me’ has been taking the Irish airwaves by storm reaching #12 in the Irish Airplay Charts and #3 in the Shazam Charts. The track has been chosen as the official song for the Football Association of Ireland’s SSE Airtricity League, 2018/2019 season.

Chasing Abbey became the sensational success story of the Irish music scene in 2017. Their hit single ‘That Good Thing’ became the most played Irish song on Irish radio following its release, storming straight to number 1 on the downloads charts while simultaneously becoming the most Shazamed song in the country.  Following the standout success of this track, they went on to sign a global record deal with 3 Beat UK and Universal Music Group worldwide.

Hailing from County Offaly and best friends since childhood, Ro (20), Bee (22) and Teddy C (22) found their unlikely stride in their fusing of urban musical genres with contemporary pop soundscapes. These boys are all about their blending of rap with huge hook choruses, and Talk to Me is no exception. Ro, Bee and Teddy C have an unparalleled charisma that culminates in an explosive live show. Having spent the past number of months touring the country and working tirelessly in the studio, Chasing Abbey are now ready to take 2018 by storm.

2018 is set to be even bigger. – Hot Press

The reason that Chasing Abbey have such a progressive attitude towards genre is because first and foremost they are musicians. They know it doesn’t matter how good the production on a track is if the song underneath it isn’t up to muster.
“We learnt to play as a group of musicians,” says Teddy C. “And it’s a really important thing to understand music, if you want to produce music. If you don’t understand musicality it can be very hard to translate that onto a laptop.” – Golden Plec

It’s gonna be a big 2018 for the boys from Tullamore.
Clichéd you might say but the industry and public attention that they currently enjoy is a direct result of sacrifices the band have made and a simple commitment to work harder than anyone inside or outside of Ireland.  Whatever they achieved to date is hard earned. –

They’re the coolest thing to come out of Tullamore since the Palace nightclub opened its doors. Today FM
