FAQs

How do I get to play at Sea Sessions?

Each year this is one of the most frequently asked questions. We’d love to have everyone play, but it’s just not possible.

Can my band play at Sea Sessions

If you are an Irish band or artist that’s trying to break through to the big time, consider signing up to the Sea Sessions Unsigned Sessions, see our ‘Unsigned Sessions’ section of the website for more info. Other Bands/artists can apply to play through our email address bands@seasessions.com and they will be passed on to the relevant booking agents that work for Sea Sessions.

I’m only 17 – can I go to Sea Sessions?

Sea Sessions is an over 18’s event, so unfortunately not.

Sea Sessions is based on the Main beach in the centre of Bundoran – you can’t miss it, just follow the sound of the music and the waves. There is a map below with directions to both the event site and campsites.

Is there disability access?

At sea sessions we pride ourselves on making the event as wheelchair friendly as possible.
The entrances and all stages can be accessed by those with mobility needs and we have a reserved viewing platform in the main stage. However it is the beach and sand can prove a difficulty for wheels of every kind from skateboards to bmx. So please bear that in mind.

Where is Bundoran?

Bundoran is in south Donegal – 5km from Ballyshannon and 37km from Sligo, which has national rail and bus links. Direct buses from Dublin will be coming to the event see the ‘getting there’ section of the website for further updates. For more detailed directions from cities & major towns please check out the getting here page.

Can I buy one day tickets?

Yes. They are on sale now from ticketmaster.ie. There is very limited availability of Day tickets released closer to the date of the event. Please note day tickets are usually priced at 60% to 70% of weekend ticket price, so there’s no big saving.

Is there food on site?

There are a wide variety of on site vendors at Sea Sessions who have been hand picked to ensure a cross section of quality food from organic meat to vegetarian options.

Can you recommend accommodation in town?

There are numerous accommodation options in Bundoran aside from the festival’s campsite. These range from four star Hotels to luxury self catering holiday homes to surf hostels and approved B&B’s. Sea Sessions has a number of ‘approved accommodation providers’ which we are happy to stand over as offering excellent value and comfort – please see the Accommodation section of the website.
