This year Sea Sessions will once again host Ireland’s most high-octane surf event (See Surfing page for more details)

Other activities include;

  • Heineken tag Rugby on the beach

  • Skate/BMX ramps

Aparthotel Beach Soccer Tournament

The beach soccer tournament is open to teams and individuals. It is 5 a side and is being organised by the local Erne Wanderers Soccer Club and sponsored by The Aparthotel Bundoran. The competition is open to all weekend ticket holders and it costs €20 euros per team to enter. Each team can have a squad of 10 players with max of 5 on the field at any one time. To register your team email seasessionsbeachsports@gmail.com your team name don’t worry if you don’t have a team as we are keeping a few open teams for individuals/smaller groups with a €5 euro per person entry fee. We have €500 worth of prizes as well as Heineken hospitality. The event will be held on Saturday at the Main Beach in Bundoran and remember all players MUST be weekend ticket holders

Heineken Beach Tag Rugby

Similarly the Beach tag rugby can be entered by teams and individuals and will be run by the local Ballyshannon Rugby Club and sponsored by The Bridge Bar/Heineken. It is 5 a side with a squad of 10 and 1 girl must be on the field at all times. All players MUST be weekend ticket-holders and a team costs €20 to enter. To register your team email seasessionsbeachsports@gmail.com your team name don’t worry if you don’t have a team as we are keeping a few open teams for individuals/smaller groups with a €5 euro per person entry fee. Again we have €500 worth of prizes plus Heineken hospitality up for grabs.

Beach Olympics

To celebrate the year of the Olympics Sea Sessions will be delivering the first ever Beach Olympics. Sports to include everything from beach sprints to frisbee throwing and much more.

There will be a 5 euro entry fee per individual and those interested are asked to register at seasessionsbeachsports@gmail.com It is all single entry into multi disciplines, so its an ideal way to take on your mates in a head to head to see who will be champion of the world, or at least the beach.

Skate/BMX

As ever Sea Sessions will be delivering the best skate and BMX displays in the country this summer. There will be some exciting new developments in this area so stay tuned for more info.
